Not many in Gujarat may be following the Winter Olympics or the Winter Asian Games. This may change soon, as a 31-year-old Gujarat youth is set to represent the country in the Winter Asian Games.
Ahmedabad's ice skater Vishwaraj Jadeja will travel to Sapporo (Japan) in February to compete in 500m, 1,000m, 1,500m, 5,000m, 10,000m and the Mass Start (smaller version of the Marathon)
While most Gujaratis look at The Netherlands as a vacation destination, Jadeja entered the country in 2012 with dreams of representing India in Winter Games - Asian Games first and ultimately the Olympics.
