(August 17 2022 to August 29 2022, Manila)
ISAI had organized a figure skating camp from August 17 ,2022 to August 29 2022 in Manila. This idea was conceived by late Mr. R.K. Guptaji in year 2019 but got delayed due to covid. This was his dream project but unfortunately he was not there to see his dream project. The project was carried forward very successfully by Mr. J.S.Sahney - General Secretary of ISAI, Ms. Simrita Sahney Sachdev- ISAI coordinator and Senior Coach , Mrs. Barkha Bhatia- Team leader, who managed the whole project in Manila and championship in Singapore. Ms. Laila Mala - Chief Coordinator appointed by ISU development team took all the pains to make this event successful.
The camp was extremely successful and along with the camps we had organised very informative and interactive Seminar Sessions with Ms. Surayu- ISU Judge.
Dr. Kim took a Seminar on Mental Health and on Nutrition.
Another Seminar was by Coach Artem on technical points on figure skating and does and donts during a performance.
ISAI had organised a grand closing ceremony on 29th August 2022 where the Chief Guest was Mr. Shambhu S. Kumaran - The Honourable Indian Ambassador in Philippines. Guest of Honour were Mr. Hans Sy- Owner of SM group in Philippines and Chairman of Philippines Skating Union.
Mr. Johnathan Reynolds - GM of Edsa Shangrila and Mr Kabir Sachdev- Financial Director for Edsa Shangrila , Philippines.
Skaters learnt a lot in this camp and also applied it in the upcoming championship which was held in Singapore from 2 nd September to 4 th September 2022 - The SEA Trophy 2022.
